We were asked by the digital agency Maniak Experiencial in Mexico to make 4 different interactive videos simulating the driving experience in 4 different car models from Volkswagen. The videos were to power a hardware installation consisting of a car simulator is equipped with VR glasses.
We scouted and utilized locations in France, Monaco and Spain to record the different scenes, each capturing the spirit of the cars being shown. The exhibition traveled all over Mexico, reaching a large audience of excited consumers.
The VR scene was created by compositing the 3D modeled interiors of the cars onto our on-location driving scenes.
The Result was massive; more than 7,000 people experienced the simulation experience. 700 bought a vehicle over 20 thousand USD in 7 months. This means sales of more than USD 14 million.
